How do I sign up for a membership?
Stop by the gym anytime during operating hours and we’ll be happy to give you a tour of the facility. Should you decide that HHF is the right fitness facility for you, you can sign up on the spot. You can also sign up online here.
What is the “EFT Option”?
EFT = Electronic Funds Transfer. The EFT Option is a membership that is paid for on an automatic basis. EFT membership payments are transferred directly from your bank account on the fifth of each month. There are various payment options for EFTs, some with joining fees and some without, so please inquire with a front desk associate for help selecting an EFT that is best for you. Senior, student, police and fire department discounts are available for all EFT memberships.
What is a “PIF”?
A PIF is a Paid-In-Full membership. The available terms for this membership are one month, three months, six months or 12 months. These pre-paid memberships are typically less expensive than EFTs and are more economical with higher term lengths – the longer the term you select, the cheaper the membership is per month. Senior, student, police and fire department discounts are available for all PIF memberships.
Can I manage my account online?

Can I add family members to my account?
Yes, you can! The more family members that are on your account, the less expensive the per person rate is. See a front desk associate for more information on family rates.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes, we can freeze your membership for up to 90 days for a one-time fee of $10. Please inquire at the front desk for a Freeze Form.
What are the cancellation policies?
Our monthly EFT memberships can be cancelled prior to the fulfillment of the 12-month commitment for a one-time fee of $75. HHF does not accept cancellations over the phone. Our cancellation form must be filled out completely, signed and delivered via email (email@example.com), fax (603-382-0797) or delivered in-hand to one of our front desk associates. In all cases you must receive and retain a copy of your cancellation form to avoid any question as to the validity of your cancellation.
What’s the difference between freezing and canceling my membership?
A freeze is a provisional hold on your membership for instances when you are not using the gym, whether for medical reasons, seasonal travel or other personal causes. It temporarily pauses your monthly billing so that you don’t lose time and money off your pre-paid plan.
Canceling your membership means permanently terminating your plan and monthly billing. If this is done prior to the 12-month commitment of your membership, a $75 fee applies. State law requires that pre-paid membership cancellations be made within the first three business days of signing up for the pre-paid membership. After that time, cancellations of pre-paid memberships are not permitted. If a member cannot use a pre-paid membership, the membership can be transferred to a friend or family member.

Billing and Payments
How do I change the billing information on my account?
You can change your billing information at any time by stopping by the front desk and requesting a Change Form to fill out. Once that is completed, the front desk staff will make the changes to your information that you requested. All sensitive billing information is held in a safe within a locked office before and after processing.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as checks and cash.
When do you process billing?
We process billing every month on the fifth.

Facilities & Equipment
Is there a way to find out how to use the equipment?
Every member, as well as those on trial memberships, can complete a “Basic” course. This is a session with one of our amazing trainers in which we provide an hour of basic instruction on some of the equipment you are interested in learning about for future use.

What amenities are in the locker rooms?
Our locker rooms are clean and climate-controlled. They include showers, dry saunas, hair dryers, towel service, flat screen TVs, and daily and rental lockers.
How do I listen to one of the TVs while doing cardio?
We use FM broadcast, so a simple FM radio is all you need to listen to the TVs. We have units for members to borrow as well as ones for sale in our pro shop.
Are there security cameras at the gym?
Yes. Security cameras are located throughout the common workout areas of the club, as well as the children’s areas, for you and your family’s safety. There is a private, password-protected viewing screen for parents to use to check in on their children without disrupting your workout.
What classes do you offer?
We offer Zumba, Muscle Pump, Yoga, Pilates, Barre and Kickboxing, as well as SilverSneakers for our mature population. For more information on the classes we provide, [click here].

How do I sign up for a class?
With us, there’s no need to sign up ahead of time. Just sign in at the front desk right before the class begins so that we know who is in attendance.
What is appropriate attire for a group exercise class?
Whatever clothing you’re comfortable in is appropriate. We just ask that what you wear be in good taste.
Are classes included in the monthly membership?
Several of our membership options include access to all classes. To find out more, please inquire with one of our front desk associates.
Personal & Small Group Training
What are the benefits of having a personal trainer?
Personal trainers have your health and wellness in mind, and help you get results. They teach you correct exercise techniques, ensuring you see your intended results while exercising in a safe manner. Personal trainers increase adherence and accountability – they keep you on track to achieve your fitness goals and are with you every step of the way.
Trainers are also efficient. We understand that you have a busy schedule and only so much time to work out. Our trainers create the right program for you and design it around your schedule to ensure maximum results can be attained in the time you have to invest in your personal fitness.

What is small group training?
If you’re looking for something more affordable than one-on-one training, small group training may be for you. Our small group training programs, “Choose to Lose” and “Riptide,” are designed and modified for a wide range of fitness levels and are monitored by the trainer to ensure everyone works out at their own level. The camaraderie and “pack” mentality that come with small training groups lead to greater adherence and dedication to pushing oneself outside current comfort levels, ultimately producing increased results in a short period of time.

How do I sign up for personal or small group training?
Our front desk staff can guide you through the simple process of purchasing and signing up for any of our training programs. The one-on-one training appointments will be scheduled between you and your trainer.
How do I choose a trainer?
If you see a trainer in our club that you would like to work with, feel free to speak to them between appointments. Should they not have the time for an in-depth conversation at that moment, leave your number with the front desk and the trainer will call you to talk in detail about your fitness needs. Owner, operator and personal trainer Ted Curtin is available during operating hours for consultation on deciding which trainer is best for you.

How much do sessions cost?
Prices vary between $35 and $70, depending on the number of sessions purchased at one time and the length of the sessions. (30- and 60-minute sessions are available.)
What are the cancellation policies?
12 hours’ notice is required to cancel your session so that your trainer can try to fill your spot. Sessions that are not canceled within the 12-hour window are forfeited, unless in case of emergency.
Can I refund unused sessions?
You cannot. However, any unused sessions can be used toward other services in the club, applied toward your membership, or transferred to a friend or family member.
Kids Gym & Playroom
What ages can attend the Kids Gym?
Children starting in first grade through 12 years of age can attend the Kids Gym. This is a guideline, however, exceptions can be made for children entering the Kids Gym or those graduating to the adult facility.
What activities are available in the Kids Gym?
The Kids Gym has similar equipment to what is available in the adult facility, as well as video game exercise activities, an obstacle course, weekly challenges, competitions and more! Additionally, children are taught how to exercise efficiently and safely by qualified staff and trainers.

How much does the Kids Gym cost?
Price ranges vary, much like the adult facility, so please speak with a front desk associate for details. Children with busy schedules can use guest passes, which allow them to work out without commitment to a membership.
Do you offer a summer day camp for kids?
We do not, but we run summer specials for kids visiting the Kids Gym and special exercise challenges indoors and out.
How old must a child be to attend the Playroom?
Children must be at least 3 months old through 12 years old to attend the Playroom.
What activities are available in the Playroom?
Games, puzzles, music, musical chairs – all the fun stuff!

Is the Playroom included in memberships?
No, there is a separate fee required. However, families can choose from a daily, monthly, or yearly fee when signing up for the playroom.
Can I host a party at the HHF Kids Gym?

We run seasonal referral promotions that our members can take advantage of when available.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes! Guest passes are available for $10 each. Guests over 60 and full-time students receive a discounted price of $7.
Can I try the gym before I join?
Yes! One-week trials are available for all prospective members. These trials are not available to students during school vacations or breaks. We offer discounted specials during those times and have guest passes available.
